PREPARING YOUR NAILS
Prepping your nails thoroughly is essential to ensure a long lasting and chip-free gel manicure.
DIRECTIONS:
1. Gently push back the cuticle and remove any dead or excess skin if necessary.
2. Carefully remove the surface shine of the nail using a buffer.
3. File and shape the free edge of the nails into your desired nail shape – rounded, square, oval, stiletto, squoval, mountain peak, almond, flare, edge, arrow head, ballerina (also known as coffin-shaped nails), the choice is yours.
4. Cleanse the nails with a lint-free wipe.
IMPORTANT: Make sure your nails are oil and moisture-free before applying the base coat.
TIP: Use Mylee Nail & Cuticle oil regularly as this will keep your nails hydrated, flexible and nourished.

GEL APPLICATION
1. Shake the bottle to blend.
2. Apply a thin coat of MYGEL Base Coat to the nails, ensuring you have capped the free edge.
3. Cure for 30-60 seconds under LED lamp or 2 minutes under a UV lamp.
4. Apply a thin layer of your favourite MYGEL gel colour to the nails and cap the free edge.
5. Cure for 30-60 seconds under LED lamp or 2 minutes under a UV lamp.
6. Repeat to build colour.
7. Apply a thin layer of MYGEL Top Coat to the nails and cap the free edge.
8. Cure for 30-60 seconds under LED lamp or 2 minutes under a UV lamp.
9. Remove the sticky layer by wiping the nails with a lint-free wipe soaked in Mylee Prep & Wipe, or use a Mylee Prep & Shine wipe.
IMPORTANT: Always apply very thin and even coats. Thick coats need to be cured longer.

GEL REMOVAL
Removing MYGEL polish is quick and pain free.
1. Buff the surface of the nails with a nail file to remove the shine of the top coat. This must be done firmly as the surface must be opened up to allow you to penetrate the UV lacquer, but be careful not to damage the nail.
2. Soak a cotton pad with Mylee Gel Remover and place onto the nail plate, securing with a foil wrap.
3. After 10 minutes, firmly pull pads off the nails, making sure you pull over the nail plate to remove the loose product
4. If there is product remaining on the nail, re-buff and re-wrap the nail.
5. Once all the product is removed, file and shape the free edge using a nail file then buff the nail to a shine.
